To combat the problem of most websites not conforming to web accessibility guidelines, our team pitched a Chrome extension, Elephant, that automatically ranks websites based on their compliance to WCAG standards. Users may indicate which exact disability they have to make the scoring system more relevant to them. When a user performs a Google search, the results are automatically re-ranked based on both their search relevance and accessibility scores calculated by Elephant.
